  1. I'm struck by several Most faculty in the workshop appear to be white (note: I know that "appear" is a dangerous way to go here, so forgive me if I've missed something), and the MSU group appears to be divided by gender into T&L and SA. Is there any discussion of these diversities and what it might mean for the MSU group and/or the NMMU group?

And of course, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all celebrating!

  2. Thanks for the Birthday wishes! Unfortunately, we have not taken photographs of all meetings. This is not the most representative picture of the student and faculty groups we have had the pleasure of working with. Diversity (and access) has been a constant discussion and theme on our trip. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this upon my return. It is more complex topic than I can give proper explanation and depth to at this time/on the blog. As for our own teams I am sure it was not intentional. It is an interesting coincidence worthy of consideration!

    Keep up the great comments!
